이 과목에서는 고대와 중세의 러시아문학에 대해 개괄적으로 살핀 후, 19~20세기 러시아 문학의 전성기에 나타난 다양한 작가들의 문학 세계와 문학계의 현상들에 대해 좀 더 자세히 알아본다. 대표적인 작가와 작품, 주요한 문예 사조를 시대별로 살펴보면서 그 속에 내재하는 러시아적 정신세계와 사상에도 초점을 맞춤으로써 당대의 러시아 문학사를 총체적으로 이해해 볼 수 있도록 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
In this course students will sum up ancient and medieval time Russian literature, and then will more deeply focus on the literary worlds of various writers and literary phenomena of literature of 19th and 20th century Russia which are regarded as heyday of Russian literature. Representative writers, works and main literary trends will be dealt with, and on that process students will be expected to understand history of Russian literature as a whole, and on that basis, will also be expected to understand Russian mentality and thoughts which are inherent in it.
