Digital System 설계를 위해 광범위하게 이용되는 HDL(VHDL, Verilog HDL)과 회로 모델링 기법을 배운다. 또한 Altera사의 FPGA용 CAD tool을 이용하여 다양한 응용분야의 회로를 직접 설계해보고, training kit 상에서 직접 구현해 봄으로써 전공학생들이 Digital System hardware 설계에 대한 이해를 높이고 경험을 쌓도록 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
This course is about the design of digital systems using a hardware description language, VHDL or Verilog HDL. This course includes some labs where students will get hands-on experience implementing digital systems on FPGA.
