본 교과목에서는 디지털 영상에서 영상이 지닌 정보를 추출, 해석하여 디지털 영상을 분류, 인식하는 알고리즘을 학습한다. 디지털 영상처리의 심화 응용 교과목으로서 임베디드 로봇 시각, 생체인식, 문자인식을 위한 영상 전처리 알고리즘과 영상 분할, 특징 추출, 분류하는 알고리즘을 학습하고 이를 임베디드 시스템의 기반에서 구현하고 개발하는 컴퓨터비전 프로젝트를 완수한다.
교과목해설(영문)
The aims of this lecture are the studies of the algorithms that extract the pictorial information from digital images, and classify the images as recognized objects. This course is the advanced and the applied subject of "Digital Image Processing". In the various fields such as robot vision, biometrics, character recognition, etc, the students should research the algorithms that are preprocessing, image segmentation, feature extraction, classification, etc, and complete the small projects that implement the computer vision system in embedded system.
