본 과목은 전기에너지를 기계에너지로 변환해주는 모터, 기계에너지를 전기에너지로 변환 시켜주는 발전기 그리고 전압을 바꾸어 송전 및 배전 효율을 높이는 변압기 등 대표적인 전기전자기기의 원리 및 이론에 대해 배우고 이를 바탕으로 공학적 문제를 해결하는 능력을 배양할 수 있게 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
In this course, models of the machines are developed, in terms of both simplified equations and of equivalent circuits, leading to the basic understanding of modern machines and drives. Power electronics are introduced, at the device and systems level, and electrical drives are also discussed.
